My friend Sandra was at it again. She organized, drew, made templates, made molds… To end up with kids in Ripon Cathedral. And I was privileged to be the photographer on site. I love it. Give me some kids and a bit of mess and this one is happy. I knew it was going to be a special afternoon when I noticed the flash of sunlight onto a pillar in the cathedral. While I was still standing outside. A little sign coming from heaven. Thanks dad! It arrived.
We have paint, eggs on sticks, cardboard, glue, sparkle, glitter… Bring it on babes!
Even the Saints are happy!
The kids are fab. Sandra seems to have thousand hands and sees it all. Boys are focussed and red is a big colour.
Little hands grab little brushes. I am amazed at how tiny tots can sit still and work for such a long time!
Bear sits lonely in the pram…
Works of art are being created. With passion.
Kids make masks
once finished their egg.
Octopus Sandra is directing her orchestra… The music is heart warming. A symphony with 3000 colors.
Show me your hands honey… It’s funny. If you stretch your hand out to kids to show them your hands they will do the same to you. The magic of mimicking. It never fails.
A mouse sits patiently. No cheese in sight.
I have to claim the chicken in order to snap it.
Red lips. Ready for a kiss.
An egg dinosaur. Eggs can be more then eggs. Add a little fantasy and role play and there we go.
The diamonds are popular. I know they are basically plastic and synthetic, but I call it diamonds. The kids agree with me.
Scott is having a grand day. He is the leader of the boat section. Hey, easter eggs can be boats…
And Sharks. For the first time in my life I encountered an Easter shark… Bite me!
